![]() At Shiso, an Asian fusion restaurant across the street, guests can opt for sashimi, sushi, noodle and rice bowls, and more (dinner only). The dinner menu leans mostly toward Mediterranean dishes, with vegetarian options-and there’s a special menu for kids theme nights are held twice a week. Seascape restaurant serves three meals a day: buffet-style breakfast and lunch and à la carte dinner. We didn’t find this to be an issue as we were mostly at the pool. The all-inclusive rates here include unlimited meals and drinks. As for the beach, they offered towels, chairs and umbrellas but no food/drink service. We went during the week, so it was never that crowded, but i could see it getting a little packed on weekends. We spent most of our time at the pool, which had a swim up bar as well as food service to the chairs (you had to order at the bar, and they’d bring the drinks/food to you). We didn’t try Maya but Branch Cantina was great! Pier Village is right outside the hotel, with a carousel, restaurants, shops, arcade, etc. The entire valet staff was excellent! There are two restaurants (Maya, Branch Cantina) on site, as well as a coffee shop which had some pastries and other small bites to go. The car was always pulled up within 5 min. We took our car out each day, and it was very easy to request through text. Everyone at the front desk was extremely friendly and accommodated all of our requests. I can’t say enough about the service at the hotel. If you’re traveling with kids, I would highly recommend requesting that layout. There are no true “suites” in this hotel - but some of the junior suites (like the one we had) have a layout that essentially provides two separate areas. My family and I had a fantastic 4 night stay at the Wave! We were traveling with a toddler and a newborn, and the Wave was absolutely perfect for our family getaway. If you want a no hassle venue and hotel stay, please keep looking!!! You can do better, without all the rollercoaster drama! Run away fast!!!… I’ve not experienced this in any hotel, ever! We are still fighting the wine battle fiasco and have asked why the front desk gave wine to someone without asking for identification (is that even lawful, how did they know this person was of legal age?!) That would have ensured the identity of the person who received the bottles and proved it wasn’t him! This has left a very negative feeling centered around a wedding weekend that was supposed to be beautiful and worry free. The person at registration who called him back was extremely rude and unprofessional, and kept asking him to send more pictures. I’m not sure who they kicked out of a room to honor his reservation (paid for 10 months in advance), very unprofessional!!! To add insult to injury, they charged him for two bottles of wine that he did not purchase, asking for a drivers license with a picture on it to be sent to the registration office to prove it wasn’t him after we checked out! We were so shocked we actually thought it was a scam to get a copy of his driver’s license. After a full week of phone calls and angst, we were told that registration office and the hotel have different lists and there was a mix up. One month before the wedding the wave hotel informed us that they didn’t have a room for my son even though registration sent a confirmation for his room. Paid in full for a room in Dec 2022 for a stay in Oct 23 to attend a wedding at the wave hotel.
